CASTLEWOOD, Alameda County — Homeowners and other water customers can access a 2025 drinking-water report for Castlewood through the county’s public-works website.
The Castlewood County Service Area page links to the 2025 Consumer Confidence Report as well as the preceding 2024 report and other water-system documents.
How to use the report
Annual consumer confidence reports provide information about a public water system and its monitoring. Residents should consult the report itself for the specific source, tested substances, regulatory comparisons and any reported violations. A report’s availability is not proof that every tap in every building has been independently sampled.
The state’s public water-system listing
The California State Water Resources Control Board database lists the Castlewood Domestic Water System under ID CA0105008. It records 190 residential and 17 commercial service connections in its data, and identifies a wholesale water-source relationship with the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission system.
These database values reflect the state’s recorded system information and can change with updates. Residents should request current notices from their supplier if they need information about an active water-quality alert or their own property.
